#seniMAD began as a plea – that each child be given access to the arts: for exploration, for curiosity and for the experience. Launched in 2015, #seniMAD was a programme in partnership with Prudential Malaysia to widen access to the arts to underprivileged children.
The programme got people to pledge their support by volunteering as teachers for creative classes, subsidising fees or donating musical instruments and other art tools for 100 children from People’s Housing Projects (PPR) and underprivileged homes. For every public pledge made, Prudential matched its value to further the reach of #seniMAD.
