Moka Mocha Ink

Moka Mocha Ink (est. 2011) is an independent publishing house that focuses on contemporary Malay fiction and drama. In 2018 the company ventured into producing stage plays via Ensembel Teater Kaos Nol, an open collective that has been organising book reading and discussion, art and theatre related activity based in Kuala Lumpur.

Pentas Project

Pentas Project was founded in 2005 by Loh Kok Man. “Pentas Project” in Chinese would be 「平台計劃」 (ping tai ji hua). The first two characters「平台」 (ping tai), indicate a flat stage. “Pentas Project” envisions a stage without walls or boundaries, a stage that can be more transparent and equal, a stage for interactions and understandings that can strengthen the relationships between different cultures and realms.

MUKA SPACE

MUKA SPACE was created by Dr. Yan Yongzhen founded in 2013. The meaning of MUKA includes Malay “Kamu” (you) and “Aku” (I), which is “No matter what you are, belongs to you and me” The art sharing space. Muka advocates the concept of “making art life”, believes that quality life is inseparable from artistic feeling, and makes “artistic life” a unique phenomenon in our time. Muka is committed to making and presenting high-quality drama. To nurture young performing artists, develop contemporary drama art and art cross-border works, and expand diversified art forms and international cooperation methods.

Revolution Stage

REVOLUTION STAGE merupakan kumpulan yang aktif sejak 2006 hingga kini, namun ianya didaftarkan semula atas nama PERTUBUHAN PENTAS REVOLUSI (PPR) bersama graduan – graduan seni persembahan gabungan daripada beberapa institusi pengajian tinggi (IPT) antaranya Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaya (UM), dan Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM) pada awal tahun 2014. Atas kesedaran dan kecintaan terhadap seni budaya dan warisan negara, maka PPR dijadikan platform dan medan anak – anak muda melahirkan karya- karya bermutu bukan sahaja untuk kelompok penikmat seni malah kepada khalayak umum.

Gangsapura Contemporary Malay Gamelan Group

Gangsapura is a Contemporary Malay Gamelan Group, established in 2016 in Kuala Lumpur and was founded by Teuku Umar Ilany and Nur Diyana Nadirah. Gangsapura strive to fulfill its mission to inspire, motivate, influence, educate and communicate with thousands of notes. It aspires to be an example and a pioneer in traditional Gamelan music playing and to create awareness among community of Malaysia’s traditional art forms.

ASK Dance Company

ASK Dance Company (ADC) is a Malaysian professional dance collective comprising young artists who specialize in traditional and contemporary dance as well as traditional theatre, all graduates of ASWARA (National Academy of Arts Culture and Heritage Malaysia). Established in 2011 by Prof. Dr Joseph Gonzales, Dean of the Faculty of Dance ASWARA (1998-2015), currently at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). Forges a distinct Malaysian identity through its repertoire while providing employment, experience and a career path for outstanding graduates of ASWARA. Performed extensively at various productions and festivals, in Malaysia and internationally in Indonesia, Korea, Hong Kong, Spain, Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, UK, and Sweden. Funded by Sime Darby Foundation. Employs 10 fulltime artists who multi-task as well as one Financial Officer.

Kudos Productions

Kudos Productions is a collective of storytellers with the united belief that stories can make a difference. The prime core of Kudos Productions is headed by Nicole Yong (Producer, Actor), Josh Blake (Actor, Acting Coach, Creative Director) and Jude James (Writer, Director, Artistic Director). Kudos believes in delivering 3 tenants within their stories: 1) ENTERTAIN through the stories and current thoughts of humanity. 2) HIGHLIGHT the awareness of pop culture, social structure, beliefs, fears and joys of the modern world. 3) REMIND everyone that we are flawed beings with ambitions and desire, but also have hope.
