#bootcampSENI
#bootcampSENI is an intensive performing arts camp conducted in secondary schools all over Malaysia. Designed as an arts outreach programme in just 36 hours, #bootcampSENI encourages students to develop their creative thinking skills and teamwork through the principles and techniques used in the performing arts.
Consisting of intensive workshops facilitated trained local professionals, #bootcampSENI provides local artists with new opportunities to engage and outreach to a new generation of local audience by cultivating their appreciation for the arts.
2015
2015 #bootcampSENI
In 2015, #bootcampSENI engaged students in a fun and inclusive crash course to “hack” theatre. Students were given 36 hours to learn the basic skills of theatre such as acting, directing, production design, and the history of Malaysian theatre. At the end of the camp, the students gained more self-confidence and communication skills while developing their leadership and teamwork, which contributes to their academic performance.
2014
2014 #bootcampSENI
In 2014, as many as 22 secondary schools nationwide participated in #bootcampSENI. The students were taught the basic knowledge and skills for them to “hack” musical theatre including scriptwriting, voice training, choreography, set design and singing. At the end of the camp, the students were given the opportunity to stage their own Talent Showcase.
