Throughout the year, the Kakiseni Arts Awards Administration Committee accepts submissions and screens them for eligibility. Judges from across all categories will be invited to watch the shows and score the performances. These scores will then be tabulated and the performances with the highest scores from each category will form a list of finalists.
Nine pre-selected executive judges will meet and deliberate on this list of finalists. The most outstanding performances, regardless of category, will be named in the “Best Of” list, and the awards and nominees will be decided. Then, a secret ballot is conducted to select the winners. The scoring will be tabulated by PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the results kept strictly confidential under lock and key, until finally announced on Awards Night.
