Here’s some coverage about the inaugural Backers Audition Kuala Lumpur in KopitiamEkonomi.com .
An excerpt from their site:
Agenda flow: Each performing arts company/organization/practitioner will be given a ten minutes pitch and backers may pick projects of interest to back or to choose to continue to explore the possibilities after that.
A cozy networking dinner will be provided after that. Kakiseni, a twelve-year performing arts platform will be at hand to coordinate and arbitrate from that of the pitch process up to the projects deliverable.
Please write to [email protected] to indicate interest and we will send you the Backers pack for more information.
So, do you have a creative idea that’s related to dance, literary events, music, theatre, visual arts, multimedia, and interdisciplinary works? But no funding?
