This design evokes Art Deco and songket patterns to capture the elegance and nostalgia of the 1920’s, which in turn evokes the concept of “Where It All Began”, in conjunction with BOH Plantation’s 90th Anniversary. The gold and black suggests both luxury and modernity, and suggests that the 1920’s is when the beginnings of modern performing arts take root in Malaya.
