Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen – fellowship call

Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen in Austria invites visual and media artists, art critics, theorists, and curators to apply for a fellowship in 2018–2019 (1 October 2018–2 June 2019). Candidates can apply for a five-month fellowship. Professional visual/media artists, art theorists, art critics, and curators from all over the world are eligible for the fellowship.

CERN Collide International residency award

Collide International Residency award is a unique opportunity for artists to spend dedicated time in CERN, European Organization for Nuclear Research, one of the largest laboratories in the world, where physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. Collide aims to encourage curiosity, offering experimental and open-minded artists an extraordinary framework to inspire creativity both within the sciences and the humanities.

Taipei Artist Village residency

Located in Taipei City, nestled in its small, secluded yard with bamboo grove, Taipei Artist Village (TAV) is an oasis in the urban environment.

TAV includes 12 individual studio spaces, dance rehearsal space, a piano studio, and performance hall; all facilities to support projects at various stages of development, including research, art creation, exhibitions and performances.

SeMa Nanji Artist Residency, Seoul, South Korea

SeMA Nanji is an international artist residency for young artists, operated by the Seoul Museum of Art. The aim is to provide promising artists with studios for creating art in a quiet environment with encouragement and sharing of information from other artists and curators.

Cemeti – Institute for Art and Society, Yogyakarta, Indonesia

For this exciting new opportunity, Cemeti – Institute for Art and Society and the Asia New Zealand Foundation are collaborating to invite one artist from New Zealand to spend three months at Cemeti in Yogyakarta Indonesia, alongside one Indonesian and one Dutch artist who will be in residence for the same period.

Rimbun Dahan for International Artist Residency

Rimbun Dahan welcomes international artists (from countries other than those in the ASEAN/Southeast Asian region), with or without partners and family accompanying them. This residency is recommended for those looking for solitude, silence and/or space to work. We provide living space and work space for a monthly fee for any length of residency. This monthly fee goes back into running our other programs.

Dance Residency Assistance

Contemporary dance practitioners (dancers, choreographers, dramaturgs, programmers, scholars) who are in residence at Rimbun Dahan can get special assistance during their residency.

Southeast Asian Arts Residency

The Southeast Asian Arts Residencies at Rimbun Dahan are for artists and arts managers in any discipline from and based in ASEAN nations only (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam). The residencies are intended to provide an opportunity to live and work in Malaysia, and can run for anywhere from 1 to 3 months. We provide workspace and accommodation in a serene garden setting, far away from the bustle of the city. This residency is recommended for artists seeking solitude, silence and/or space to focus on their work.
